For Affinity Archive 24 people were asked to give material that for them represents a condition of creative production. The resulting collection includes contributions from Austria, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Mexico, the UK, and the US.

Affinity Archive is the work behind the artwork. The letters, articles, books, photographs, manifestos, source material, conversations, etc. that inform cultural work. The archive will be presented over one month in Sarah Pierce's studio in Dublin. Visitors may add to the archive by dropping off materials in person during open hours.

Over the course of the month Affinity Archive will grow. After 5 April 2003, all contributions will be documented in a publication.
