ALONE as far as Daniel was concerned, there were times that he needed to be alone, even in a room full of people. occasionally, there were times when things slowed down and came together in unexpected ways. moments when everything was clear, at least distilled. like with the transformer. he couldn't always anticipate them, but he liked to put himself in certain moods. he didn't want to push Sara too far away, but he wasn't used to living with someone, and actually had been alone since his youth at the farm. back then, he'd have those clear moments much more often. not because he was closer to nature, or something else ridiculous like that, or even because it was a simpler time.
it was anything but simple.
